1. Import FLV.
You can import FLV files with buttons red-marked in picture below. You can import up to 5 files with Lite version. For Ultimate version, you can import as many as you like and there are more powerful functions. All files imported will be placed in Resource List. You can double click to play. To edit them you can drag the file to Timeline.
2. To edit clips on Timeline you can get the help of buttons on Timeline Toolbar, short-cut keys, and right-click menu on Timeline.

To rip FLV video and audio, you can select the clip and click Unlink button.
To join FLV video and audio, you can select the video and audio with the help of Ctrl button on keyboard and click Join button. And then you can move them together.
To trim the length of an FLV, MP3 or F4V clip on Timeline, you can drag the edge of the clip.
To cut FLV, you can select the unwanted clip and click “X” button.
To undo or resume your previous setting, you can click Undo and Redo button.
No matter how many clips you have placed on Timeline, they will be exported as a single file. So you can merge FLV.
You can also add metadata and cue point to the video.
Edit with right-click menu on Timeline.
Other than the selections you can choose on Timeline Toolbar, you can also insert a clip directly to Timeline.
If there are many blank spaces among clips on Timeline, you can right click on the blank and select Trim Blank. The clips will be attached tightly with each other.
You can also rename a clip on timeline for easier recognizing.
Edit with short-cut keys.
Ctrl + A to select all;
Ctrl + Z to undo or redo;
Ctrl + left/right to move the clip;
Ctrl + click on clip to select or deselect multiple clips on Timeline. And then you can move them together.
Delete: Press Delete key on keyboard and you can delete the selected clip or clips on Timeline.
